Stop Porn Culture has produced two educational slideshows about the harms of the porn culture.  Both slideshows are available free to those who wish to educate themselves and/or others on these issues.

Our first slideshow, “Who Wants to Be a Porn Star?  Sex and Violence in Today’s Pornography Industry” is an educational and organizing tool for anti-porn activists that presents a feminist analysis of pornography and of the increasingly pornographic culture in which we live.

“Who Wants to be a Porn Star?” was written and produced by Gail Dines (Wheelock College), Rebecca Whisnant (University of Dayton) and Robert Jensen (University of Texas).

Our second slideshow, “It’s Easy Out Here for a Pimp: How a Porn Culture Grooms Kids for Sexual Exploitation,” focuses on how a pornified popular culture (including pornography itself) shapes the identities of children and adolescents, while increasingly portraying them as sexual objects for adults.

“It’s Easy Out Here for a Pimp” was written and produced by Rebecca Whisnant (University of Dayton) with assistance from Cordelia Anderson, Gail Dines, Lierre Keith, Alexis Ladd, Jennifer Reed, and Gariné Roubinian.
